Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an instrumentation and controls engineer at the career level for Corvallis, OR, with hybrid work options. You will work on advanced facilities, supporting design, integration, and programming tasks with client teams in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a relevant ABET-accredited degree, 6+ years in instrumentation and control, PE licensure, and strong communication skills. Relocation may be provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• PE licensure is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development of proposals, budgets and schedules for process specific work.
• Develop and implement instrumentation control for manufacturing process equipment and safety/automation systems.
• Provide in-process support of controls in a manufacturing environment.
• Design facility control systems and SCADA projects.
• Design P&IDs, loop drawings, control panels, and wiring diagrams.
• Develop Sequence of Operation (SOO).
• Present technical and business information to clients and staff.
