Job summary

Jacobs in Corvallis, OR, seeks a Career-level Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to lead design and implementation of controls for advanced manufacturing facilities. You will collaborate with client owners to meet schedule, design requirements and system integration while steering programming tasks.

Requirements include a ABET-accredited degree, 6+ years in instrumentation and control, PE licensure, NFPA/UL508A knowledge, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 6+ years in instrumentation and control.
• PE licensure required.
• Understanding of NFPA and UL508A standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals, budgets and schedules for process work.
• Develop and implement instrumentation control for manufacturing equipment and safety/automation systems.
• Provide in-process controls support in manufacturing environments.
• Design facility control systems and SCADA projects.
• Create P&ID's, loop drawings, control panels and wiring diagrams.
• Develop Sequence of Operation (SOO).
• Present technical/business information to clients and team.
