Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Career level Instrumentation and Controls Engineer in Corvallis, OR, with a hybrid work arrangement. You will work on advanced facilities projects, defining control systems, P&IDs, and SCADA deployments for manufacturing environments.

Required: ABET degree in engineering, 6+ years in instrumentation and controls, and PE licensure. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential as you collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
At least 6 years of experience working with instrumentation and control.
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
Understanding of NFPA and UL508A standards and requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop proposals, budgets and schedules for process-specific work.
Develop and implement instrumentation control for manufacturing process equipment and safety/automation systems.
Provide in-process support of controls in a manufacturing environment.
Design facility control systems and SCADA projects.
Create P&ID's, loop drawings, control panels and wiring diagrams.
Develop Sequence of Operation (SOO).
Present technical and business information to clients and employees.
