Job summary

CIS International LLC seeks an on-site Calibration Specialist in Juncos, PR to perform advanced calibrations, installation, and troubleshooting of process control instrumentation in a manufacturing environment. You will ensure cGMP compliance and accurate documentation, while coordinating with Amgen procedures and operations staff.

Responsibilities include maintaining spare parts, optimizing calibration cycles, developing a training program for the team, and assisting with validation documents

Qualifications

• Associates degree with 6 months instrument work or military experience.
• High school or GED plus 2 years instrument work or military experience.
• Preferred: GMP, basic calibration, diaphragms & gaskets replacement, autoclave/glasswasher skills, Maximo software, technical documentation, lockout/tagout.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced calibrations of process and utility equipment.
• Maintain up-to-date spare parts inventory.
• Complete calibration paperwork, instrument files and work orders accurately.
• Evaluate calibration cycles and optimize the program.
• Develop and maintain team training program.
• Develop/revise SOPs for instrumentation.
• Start-up and configure instruments and controller systems.
• Assist with validation documents for instrumentation equipment.
• Coordinate with operations staff to minimize production impact.
• On-call support with pager/cell phone.
