Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking a Senior Field Technician to manage and perform complex maintenance on compressor packages and gas processes. You will handle instrumentation, electrical maintenance, and repairs across multiple units with minimal supervision.

You will troubleshoot motor controls, perform soldering, and participate in PM/MM activities while maintaining safety and equipment integrity. This role requires flexibility for overtime and on-call rotations, with strong knowledge of NEC and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced knowledge of pneumatic and electric starters, electrical systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems, ignition systems, and other compression related anatomy.
• Experience with gas processes and compressor packages; 3+ years in a similar role desired.
• Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• SSE program completion and 3+ years in a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and perform job activities per Kodiak procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical control systems and instrumentation.
• Perform preventative maintenance and overhauls.
• Maintain unit cleanliness and proper reporting.
• Work overtime and be available for on-call rotations.
