Cascade Integration & Development, Inc. in Bend, Oregon, is seeking a Senior Instrument and Controls Engineer (Subject Matter Expert) to lead PLC and HMI programming, commissioning, and support across diverse projects in water, wastewater, and manufacturing sectors.

The role combines hands-on software development with project leadership, offering field- and office-based work in a collaborative environment, with travel of 5%–20% to commission systems and support customers.

Qualifications

• Project management and leadership experience in engineering projects.
• Strong technical writing for training materials and procedures.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams on controls projects.

Responsabilités

• Project Management: oversight for other project managers.
• Technical Writing: develop training materials, control narratives and test procedures.
• PLC Programming: develop complete PLC programs and oversee programmers; define UDTs/AOIs.
• HMI Programming: develop and oversee complete HMI applications; configure screens and graphics.
• Commissioning: manage commissioning efforts and execute test plans with customers; IO checkout oversight.
• Hardware/Software configuration: set up PLC firmware, communication modules, VFDs and instrumentation.
