Job summary
Design Group seeks an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to develop instrumentation and control system designs for industrial facilities. You will work with licensed engineers, designers, project teams, and clients to support PLC, SCADA, and DCS-based systems.
The role emphasizes leadership of technical design work and mentoring junior designers, with field support including on-site design and commissioning. Travel to project sites is expected.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of control systems design experience for industrial facilities.
- Proficiency in Revit for instrumentation and controls design.
- Experience in food & beverage, technology/data centers, or life sciences industries.
- Strong knowledge of area classification and cross-discipline coordination.
- Willingness to travel for project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop instrument specifications and PLC, SCADA, and DCS designs for industrial facilities.
- Design instrumentation and control systems for industrial, manufacturing, and utilities projects.
- Prepare instrument lists, loop sheets, I/O lists, and instrumentation plans.
- Lead instrumentation and controls engineering and design on multidisciplinary projects.
- Provide field support including on-site design, commissioning, and start-up.
- Mentor junior instrumentation and controls designers.
- Collaborate across offices to meet project requirements.
