Job summary

Ignite Digital in Orlando, FL is seeking a Lead Instructional Systems Specialist to support a US Navy/USMC program office. You will lead design, development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of POIs for military and civilian learners onsite with government partners.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years in instructional systems, holds an active DoD Secret clearance, and can supervise staff while ensuring training products meet Navy/USMC standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience in instructional systems or a closely related field.
Strong background in training analysis, curriculum development, instructional design, and POI creation for military or technical programs.
Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Ability to work onsite at the government facility in the Orlando region.
Experience supporting Navy/USMC training development or acquisition is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, evaluation and continuous improvement of POIs for Navy/USMC.
Ensure training requirements are met across program phases.
Collaborate with SMEs to develop instructional materials and assessment tools.
Provide guidance to junior staff and conduct QA of training plans.
Participate in program reviews and align products with fleet needs.
