Job summary

Ignite Digital is seeking an experienced Lead Instructional Systems Specialist to support a US Navy/US Marine Corps program office in the Orlando, Florida region. This onsite role leads the design, development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of instructional systems and Programs of Instruction (POIs) supporting military and civilian learners.

The candidate must have a Master’s degree in Education or Instructional Systems, 10+ years of relevant experience, and an active DoD Secret

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Systems, or a related field.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in instructional systems.
• Onsite work at the government facility in the Orlando region.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, evaluation and improvement of POIs for Navy/USMC.
• Conduct in-depth research to ensure training content is current and relevant.
• Assess instructional effectiveness and update content as required.
• Design cost-effective training strategies for military and civilian audiences.
• Develop instructional programs, course materials, and measurement instruments.
• Create master instructional plans and modify plans based on needs.
• Perform task analyses to support POI development.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to design analyses and support materials.
• Provide QA and peer review of training plans and evaluation strategies.
• Guide less experienced staff and provide technical supervision.
• Participate in Program Reviews to satisfy training requirements.
