Job summary
Ignite Digital in Orlando, FL seeks an experienced Lead Instructional Systems Specialist to support a US Navy/US Marine Corps program office. You will lead design, development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of instructional systems and Programs of Instruction for military and civilian learners.
The role requires a Master’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in instructional systems, and active DoD Secret Clearance.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Systems, or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree + 15 years of relevant experience; OR High School Diploma + 18 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Instructional Systems or a related field.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Experience supporting Navy/USMC training development or acquisition programs is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of POIs for Navy/USMC.
- Develop instructional materials and performance objectives across programs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training meets standards.
- Provide guidance to less experienced instructional systems staff.
- Perform QA and peer review of training plans and materials.
