Job summary

Acentra Health is seeking an Instructional Design and Training Specialist to lead the internal training team, drive content development, and ensure scalable learning solutions aligned with our mission.

You will write and edit learning content for end‑user training, oversee eLearning and instructor‑led programs, apply ADDIE/SAM methodologies, and collaborate with subject matter experts to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience may be considered.
• 7+ years in instructional design with 5+ years in a senior role.
• Ability to pass a National Agency Check Investigation (NACI).
• Proficiency with authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), LMS, multimedia tools.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theory and assessment strategies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects.
• Strategic thinking, analytics, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide project and content development guidance to leadership and clients.
• Oversee the design and development of learning programs from concept to delivery.
• Manage one or more workstreams with timelines and resources.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with quality.
• Prepare and maintain course materials for role-based education.
• Apply ADDIE and SAM methodologies to learning solutions.
• Review learning materials including eLearning, ILT, and blended formats.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to translate business needs into learning strategies.
