Job summary

Oneida ESC Group is seeking an instructional system designer for on-site support at the Defense Information School in Fort Meade, MD. The ISD will analyze training requirements, design content, develop assessments, and coordinate with SMEs to ensure compliant, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include producing trainer materials, managing course content in DMS/LMS, and delivering reports to leadership. A federal security-ready background and ADDIE expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Adult Learning, Education, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of Curriculum Development & Instructional Design using the ADDIE framework.
• Available to provide full-time on-site support.
• Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• All applicants must meet strict federal, military, and security standards.
• Familiarity with military training and education standards is preferred.
• Proficiency in developing instructor-led, virtual, and web-based training using eLearning authoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses for training courses based on requirements and models.
• Design and develop instructional programs and content delivering outcomes.
• Develop competency-based assessments and performance metrics.
• Create Train the Trainer materials for large-scale course revisions.
• Ensure content is Section 508 compliant and accessible.
• Meet production deadlines and track course lifecycle updates.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather data for analyses.
• Input course information into the DINFOS Management System (DMS).
• Archive and manage course content within the LMS (Blackboard).
• Conduct course evaluations, analyze results, and prepare improvement reports.
• Adhere to records management policies and perform ISD duties across portfolios.
