Job summary

Leyden Solutions, Inc. seeks a high-performing Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) to analyze, design, develop, and maintain instructional content for web-based and instructor-led courses on a security-focused client program.

The position uses ADDIE, Training Needs Analysis, storyboards, assessments, and DS3-aligned materials, with up to weekly travel to Fort Meade, MD or the DC area; a TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Instructional Systems Design or Adult Education from an accredited university.
• In lieu of a Master’s, a Bachelor’s degree plus five years of relevant design experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists and provides guidance on applying the ADDIE methodology.
• Collaborate with client personnel to conduct comprehensive Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and identify security training requirements.
• Support new development through front-end analysis, training design plans, storyboards, assessments, and beta tests.
• Update changes based on policy or DS3; ensure changes are applied after client programmer completes them.
• Develop detailed course design documents including content outline, media treatments, specs, and assessment strategy.
• Create and update course storyboards for audio/text flow and graphics for final product.
• Conduct and participate in beta tests and evaluate instructional effectiveness.
• Develop and update assessments for courses.
• Evaluate products for instructional effectiveness.
