Job summary

Synthesia is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to help shape customer education for Synthesia. You will own needs analysis, design end-to-end, and collaborate with a team of designers to deliver high-quality learning experiences.

You’ll design courses, run live sessions, and represent Synthesia at major NA conferences. This role requires hands-on development and strong facilitation skills in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Senior instructional designer with end-to-end ownership of needs analysis and design.
• Portfolio of customer-facing or professional learning experiences.
• Experience facilitating live sessions and speaking to large audiences.
• Hands-on experience building AI workflows and iterating on them.

Responsibilities

• Run needs analysis with customers and data to decide what to build.
• Design courses, learning paths, and live sessions grounded in instructional design principles.
• Create design artefacts: objectives, outlines, storyboards, assessments and activation hypotheses.
• Choose modalities (video, LMS, live workshop) and justify decisions.
• Collaborate openly with fellow designers and contribute to shared design system.
• Hand off designs to Enablement Specialists and stay involved as design authority.
• Build AI workflows for the production pipeline and iterate to improve.
