Job summary

Synthesia is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to lead needs analysis and learning design for customer education. You will own end-to-end design, create blueprints, and collaborate with Knowledge & Enablement Specialists to publish high-quality content.

You will facilitate live sessions and workshops at major conferences in North America, shaping how customers learn to use Synthesia. Hybrid role with hands-on design and on-stage representation.

Qualifications

• Run discovery to identify genuine learning needs from customers and data.
• Design courses, certifications, and learning paths grounded in solid instructional design.
• Produce design artefacts: objectives, outlines, storyboards and assessments.
• Decide on modalities (video, LMS, live workshops) and justify choices.
• Collaborate openly to raise design standards across the team.

Responsibilities

• Own needs analysis by talking to customers and analyzing data.
• Define audiences, prerequisites, and success measures before design.
• Hand off designs clearly to enablement specialists and stay as design authority.
• Build and iterate AI-accelerated workflows for the production pipeline.
