Job summary

LEAD Public Schools in Nashville seeks an Instructional Manager to support teachers through observation-based coaching, feedback debriefs, and targeted coaching plans. You will partner with the Assistant Principal of Instruction to ensure alignment with the Tennessee Academic Standards and LEAD’s academic model, driving teacher growth and student success.

Qualifications

Valid teaching license or eligible TN licensure preferred.
Three+ years of exemplary teaching experience with strong pedagogy.
Coaching experience with instructional moves.
Experience leading adults in K-12 setting and facilitating teams.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop talent by recruiting, onboarding, training, evaluating, and supervising LEAD teachers.
Conduct formal performance reviews and compensation discussions in line with HR policies.
Engage teachers in reflective practice and model effective instructional moves.
Build rapport with teachers and direct reports to motivate student outcomes.
Promote implementation of state standards and LEAD's academic model.
Create coaching plans with clear goals and measures of success.
Track progress and gradually release instructional responsibility to teachers.
