Job summary

LEAD Public Schools, Inc. is hiring a Middle School Instructional Manager in Nashville, TN. The role focuses on growing teacher effectiveness through observations, feedback-driven debriefs, targeted coaching plans, and evidence of impact on instruction.

The IM will work with the Assistant Principal of Instruction to ensure adherence to the Tennessee Academic Standards and LEAD's academic model, facilitating targeted professional learning and cycles of improvement for staff and students.

Qualifications

• Valid teaching license and TN licensure preferred.
• At least three years of exemplary teaching experience.
• Coaching experience preferred with knowledge of instructional moves.
• Experience leading adults in a K-12 educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop talent: recruit, onboard, train, evaluate and manage teacher performance.
• Curriculum and Content Specialist: promote alignment to state standards and improve teacher content knowledge.
• Instructional Leadership: collaborate to implement Tennessee Academic Standards and LEAD's model; develop coaching cycles.
• Professional Learning Facilitator: design and deliver professional learning aligned to teacher needs and student outcomes.
• Other responsibilities: lead or collaborate on projects as assigned.
