Job summary

Huitt-Zollars, Inc. seeks a Senior Project Architect for its Alexandria, Virginia office to lead institutional projects from concept through construction, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and maintaining client relationships throughout the full project lifecycle.

The role requires a Virginia-registered Architect with 15+ years of experience, strong Revit skills, and a proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget, while upholding firm standards and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design required.
• Registered Architect in VA or reciprocity preferred.
• 15+ years of architectural experience in A/E.
• Experience leading complex institutional projects.
• Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with AutoCAD and Adobe Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle from proposal through closeout.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams and client relationships.
• Manage scope, schedule, budgets, and QA.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants.
