Job summary

Huitt-Zollars Inc. in San Diego, CA seeks a Senior Licensed Architect to support design teams through all project phases, from programming to construction administration, while maintaining strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years’ experience, a Bachelor's in Architecture, and is licensed; healthcare/institutional exposure is preferred. Proficiency in REVIT, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Architecture is required; Master's degree preferred.
Licensed Architect required.
10+ years of experience.
Proficient in REVIT and Adobe Suite; working knowledge of SketchUp.

Responsibilities

Leads technical design for the office and produces design documents for various buildings.
Plan, direct, and monitor complex projects with strong technical requirements.
Supervise project team work with project manager and designer.
Ensure development and documentation meet schedule, budget, codes and quality.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Review designs and propose changes to meet codes and budget.
Prepare action plans to resolve project issues.
Assist with bids and contractor selection processes.
Support market sector teams in proposals and presentations.
Collaborate with teams to develop creative design solutions.
