Job summary
Huitt-Zollars is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Senior Project Architect for its Alexandria, Virginia office. You will lead multidisciplinary teams through the full project lifecycle, from business development to closeout, with a focus on institutional projects.
The role requires 15+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s in Architecture, and Virginia registration or reciprocity. Proficiency in Revit and strong client leadership are essential, with a salary in the listed range and full-time
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of architectural experience in an A/E environment.
- Registered Architect required; Virginia registration preferred or reciprocity.
- Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with AutoCAD and Adobe Suite a plus.
- Experience leading complex institutional, healthcare, HE, commercial, and public works projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all project phases from proposal to closeout, ensuring schedule, budget, and client satisfaction.
- Direct technical design efforts and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop and maintain client relationships with proactive communication and service delivery.
- Oversee contracts, subconsultant agreements, change orders, and quality control.
