Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, OH, seeks an Institutional Operations professional to support Capital Markets teams with onboarding, settlement, and trade processing across fixed income, equity, and money market products.

Under minimal supervision, you will handle client CIP checks, account maintenance, and documentation in ACE and NFS/Pershing, while assisting audits and training to ensure accuracy and risk management.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience required.
• SIE, Series 7 and 63/66 required.
• 3+ years of experience in a Financial Operations role preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience with brokerage accounts preferred.
• Knowledge of trading systems (Bloomberg TOMS, Wealthscape, NetX360) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as front line support between management and other lines of business, including but not limited to Middle Office, Compliance, IT, Trading, Accounting.
• Adheres to securities laws and regulations and internal policies.
• Meet contractual DVP/RVP settlement obligations and resolve trade concerns within regulatory requirements.
• Monitors allocation and affirmation of issues ID confirmations.
• Oversees and administers operational functions within the Fifth Third Money Market Navigator platform.
• Codes new brokerage account client profiles for books and record keeping.
• Performs CIP checks per AML policy and inputs documentation into ACE and NFS/Pershing systems.
