Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is seeking an Institutional Operations Specialist to support Capital Markets activities across Fixed Income, Equity, and Money Market Navigator teams.

You will handle onboarding, settlements, and account maintenance while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk controls. A strong background in brokerage operations and client service is essential.

This remote role offers exposure to diverse trading support functions in a dynamic bank environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• SIE, Series 7, and 63/66 licenses are required.
• 3+ years in a Financial Operations role preferred.
• Experience with brokerage accounts is preferred.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg TOMS, trading systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Front-line support between management and various lines of business across trading and back-office functions.
• Ensure compliance with securities laws and internal policies in a changing regulatory environment.
• Coordinate DVP/RVP settlement obligations and resolve trade issues.
• Code new client relationship profiles and perform CIP checks.
• Process, review, and monitor large asset movements and collateral workflows.
• Produce daily activity and risk reports for settlements and margin.
