Fifth Third Bank is seeking an Institutional Conversions Coordinator II in Cincinnati, OH to orchestrate complex custody account conversions with cross-functional teams. You will educate clients, coordinate with multiple internal groups, and ensure accurate data transfer across systems.

You will interface with domestic and global accounts, prepare documentation, and maintain compliance while meeting timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred 4 years combined experience as a Global Custody Conversion Specialist or experience specific to the Financial Services industry.
• Proven excellent customer service skills and service-focused orientation.
• Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external clients.
• Proven excellent interpersonal/relationship skills.
• Proven ability to interface with all levels of management and clients, internal and external.
• Master of managing multiple projects with varying priorities and participants.
• Proven self-starting team player with good organizational and time management skills.
• Strong detail and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to exercise a high degree of independent judgment.
• Proficient in corporate-select software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Resourceful and results oriented.
• Proven success in a team environment with professional presentation and collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Customer Service/Client Conversions.
• Partner with New Business Officers, Relationship Managers, Client Consultants and Client Service Managers to establish conversion timelines.
• Educate clients and partners on the conversion process.
• Coordinate conversion with internal departments (Securities Settlements, Global Custody Administrators, Directed Trading, Securities Lending, Foreign Exchange, Fund Accounting, ISG Plan Servicing and IT).
• Serve as the primary contact to ensure a seamless conversion of complex accounts.
• Create and monitor a step-by-step transition plan with tasks and due dates.
• Initiate conference calls and document correspondence.
• Prepare a pre-conversion (welcome) package.
• Obtain data from prior custodians and update systems accordingly.
• For domestic accounts, set up accounts on AMTrust and CIP entry.
• For global accounts, complete BNY Mellon documentation and country-specific forms.
• Coordinate interfaces with system vendors to ensure availability post-conversion.
