Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Inspector to perform semi-complex inspections of parts, tools, and instruments and ensure conformance to specifications. Role involves recording acceptance/rejection, performing calibrations, and maintaining documentation according to standards.

The candidate will read blueprints, use various measuring devices, and may train others while supporting lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years related inspection, or calibration experience.
• Able to implement and effectively apply lean/continuous improvement initiatives.
• Able to interpret reports and use job specific software applications.
• Must be able to read and understand written instructions and procedures.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, customer specifications and internal drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate acceptance and rejection records and certifications as required.
• Determine acceptance or rejection after inspection and calibration; document results.
• Inspect components, tools, and instruments with various measuring devices.
• Adapt inspection setups; check tool and jig layouts; perform first article inspections.
• Interpret specifications and measurements to ensure compliance with drawings, schematics, and military standards.
