Job summary

Parker Aerospace in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Inspector to perform semi-complex inspection of components and tools, ensuring conformance to specifications and quality standards. You will maintain records, determine acceptances, and support calibration and NDT activities as part of a team.

Responsibilities include using a wide range of measuring instruments, interpreting drawings, and communicating inspection results.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years related inspection, or calibration experience.
• Able to implement and effectively apply lean/continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficient reading and interpretation of blueprints and tolerances; attention to precision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date acceptance and rejection records.
• Determine acceptance or rejection after inspection/calibration; document results.
• Perform semi-complex inspection of components using measuring instruments.
• Inspect assembled product and ensure conformance to specs.
• Identify causes of defective conditions and document test history.
• Perform calibration checks on instruments and fixtures.
• Interpret specifications and use drawings and standards to guide inspections.
