Job summary

Forbes Advisor is expanding our Analytics function and seeking an Insights Analyst to join the team. You will partner with the General Manager to deliver in-depth analysis and data products that inform profitability decisions.

You will collaborate with Engineers, BI Analysts and Data Scientists across the US/UK/India to translate data trends into actionable business guidance and drive analytics maturity from reporting to predictive insights.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, with leadership exposure.
• Ability to translate findings into recommendations to stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Ability to communicate data to non-technical audiences via reports and visualizations.
• Prioritize across projects and guide junior members.

Responsibilities

• Investigate performance, trends, forecasts and bugs across multiple traffic sources and user journeys, reporting back with recommendations.
• Proactively identify areas where the data team can add value and collaborate with marketing to action insights.
• Contribute to reporting and ad-hoc data requests for the General Manager and team.
• Develop predictive/prescriptive analytics by creating reusable data products.
• Serve as the primary data contact for the business area and communicate progress regularly.
• Explain findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders of varying seniority.
