Job summary

MacLean Power Systems in Mankato, MN, seeks an Inside Sales & Order Management Specialist. This senior, on-site role owns the lifecycle of complex B2B orders from purchase order through invoice and serves as the central link among customers, our foundry floor, and outside vendors to coordinate value-added services.

You will resolve discrepancies, maintain clean ERP data, issue POs, track parts, and communicate production timelines.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of customer service experience in manufacturing or logistics.
• Experience with ERP systems, bills of lading, or industrial logistics is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills; comfortable with database systems.
• Able to write clear emails and discuss problems on the shop floor.
• Capable of interpreting company policy and making calls when the manager is unavailable.

Responsibilities

• Own technical order management: review POs for accuracy and resolve discrepancies; keep ERP data clean.
• Coordinate outside vendors: issue POs and track parts, manage relationships, raise performance issues.
• Be the customer's point of contact: answer questions on changes, inventory, and production timelines.
• Handle tooling and daily processing: enter tooling orders, evaluate tooling, process ASNs, invoicing, and track on-time shipment KPIs.
