As our Inside Sales & Order Management Specialist, you own the lifecycle of complex B2B orders from purchase order through invoice. You'll be the central connection among our customers, our foundry floor, and our outside vendors, coordinating value-added services such as painting, heat treating, and machining, and ensuring every shipment goes out accurately and on time.
This is a senior position with decision-making authority. You'll resolve order discrepancies, judge when something needs to go up the chain, and figure out which of three urgent requests gets handled first.
Own technical order management. Review incoming purchase orders for accuracy before entry and resolve any discrepancies with the customer. Keep ERP data clean: routing instructions, terms and conditions, bill-to and ship-to details, and Product Master records.
Coordinate outside vendors. Issue purchase orders to partners handling painting, heat treating, and machining. Track parts through those vendors, manage the relationships, and raise performance problems directly, including value-added scorecards and on-time delivery.
Be the customer's point of contact. Answer questions about engineering change requests, inventory levels, and production timelines. Open ECRs and stay on them until they're resolved.
Handle tooling and daily processing. Enter tooling orders, evaluate customer-owned tooling for obsolescence and coordinate returns, process Advance Shipment Notices, complete daily invoicing, and track on-time shipment KPIs.
