Job summary

Mike Hudson Distributing, based in Petaluma, CA, seeks an Inside Sales Manager to lead the sales team and drive profitability in the assigned district. You will develop strategies to grow the customer base and contribute to training programs for clients and Sales Associates.

The role requires 5–7 years in Food Service sales management, strong leadership, and Excel proficiency. Travel and collaboration with HR are essential to success in this position.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Food Service sales management.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Extensive relationship management experience with customers.
• Deep understanding of Food Service customers and market dynamics.
• Willingness to travel to cover defined geography.

Responsibilities

• Coach, lead and support the inside sales team.
• Develop short-term incentive programs to motivate the team.
• Collaborate with HR on performance improvement and staff upgrades.
• Create an optimal inside sales schedule to support customer service.
• Set up staff reception area to greet CW guests.
• Own and manage the NSI process for non-stocked items.
• Communicate approvals/denials to sales reps and coordinate with buyers.
