The Foodservice Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving new business growth across the foodservice channel, with a primary focus on identifying, targeting, and securing high-value accounts. This role owns the full sales cycle—from prospecting and outreach to negotiation and closing—and plays a key role in expanding market share.
Success in this position is defined by the ability to build and convert a strong pipeline, penetrate new accounts, and consistently deliver against ambitious revenue targets while contributing to the company’s overall growth strategy.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Prospect, target, and win new business across foodservice segments (distributors, restaurant chains, coffee chains, hotels, caterers).
- Build and manage a high-volume sales pipeline through cold calling, email outreach, trade shows, and field visits.
- Own the full sales cycle: lead qualification, product pitching, negotiation, and closing.
- Actively find and convert key accounts into long-term partners.
- Own revenue growth with clear KPIs: new accounts, monthly sales targets, and conversion rates.
- Leverage trade shows (NRA, IDDBA, Fancy Food, etc.) as lead generation engines.
- Drive urgency internally to accelerate deal closing and onboarding.
- Continuously map the market, identify opportunities, and track competitors.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably within foodservice, CPG, or a related industry
- Experience in specialty, premium, or high-end food categories is a plus
- Familiarity with foodservice distribution models and customer segments preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard sales tools (CRM experience is a plus)
This position involves significant travel; candidates must hold a valid driver’s license and be comfortable with frequent time in the field.
