Qualifications

• Experience with MS/APR DRG's, ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS.

Responsibilities

• Accurately codes all inpatient diagnoses and procedures per ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT and HCPCS guidelines.
• References AHIMA Standards of Ethical Coding for compliance.
• Maintain a minimum 95% chart coding accuracy.
• Queries physicians for clarification when information is incomplete.
• Mentor junior staff and train colleagues; protect patient confidentiality.
