Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking an Innovation Portfolio Strategy Principal to identify opportunities and translate ideas into profitable programs. The role provides strategic guidance to senior executives across clinical and population health domains.

You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, define KPIs, and partner with external digital health companies to launch products. This remote role requires strong analytics and healthcare experience, with travel for training as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, public health, or related field.
10+ years of technical experience, clinical strategy, consulting, or innovation with a focus on digital health.
2-3 years of leadership or project management experience.
3+ years of healthcare experience focused on Medicare populations.
Experience with healthcare data and analytics and contemporary technologies.
Experience managing stakeholder relationships including executives and external vendors.

Responsibilities

Oversee the development of the clinical and population health sub-portfolio of solutions.
Collaborate with strategy, design, engineering, clinical, and operations teams.
Develop and mentor junior team members.
Translate ideation into actionable strategic direction and project plans.
Define KPIs and data ingestion/optimization plans.
Lead go-to-market and co-develop with external digital health partners.
Advise on product management processes and tools; demonstrate best practices.
