Job summary

Connectly Recruiting is seeking an Inkjet Application Engineer for a C5ISR technology company delivering situational awareness and secure communications. Based in Pembroke, MA, this role advances a printing platform from R&D to production for flexible electronics.

You will optimize inkjet and micro-pen delivery, troubleshoot hardware and software, and work with DoD contracts. A strong background in piezoelectric/thermal printheads, waveform tuning, and metrology is essential.

Qualifications

7+ years in inkjet application development or additive manufacturing
2+ years focused on electronic, electrical, or RF/microwave components
Bachelor’s degree in engineering required

Responsibilities

Test inks, printheads, and substrates for print quality and customer requirements.
Operate and optimize industrial inkjet printers and micro-pen dispensers for high-precision components.
Evaluate fluid-structure interactions and tune printing waveforms for flexible and RF/microwave electronics.
Partner with sales to define customer requirements and provide prototypes and cost estimates.
Conduct proof-of-concept evaluations on specialized electronics substrates.
Document design work and prepare technical reports, application guides and SOPs.
