Southland Industries in Virginia is seeking a Senior Care Coordinator to design and implement a comprehensive strategy for addressing workplace injuries, ensuring swift recovery and safe return to work while maintaining connection to roles. You will manage injury cases, coordinate with safety professionals, medical providers, and risk management to optimize medical care and timelines.

The role emphasizes RTW planning, documentation compliance with OSHA and workers’ compensation, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, occupational health, or related field; OHN certification preferred.
• Experience in workers’ compensation, occupational health, or case management, preferably in construction or industrial settings.
• List no more than six essential KSAs, including system-relevant technical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Injury prevention initiatives including wellness and training; onsite clinics and first aid training.
• Case initiation and coordination with Site Safety, Medical Provider and Risk Management.
• Medical management including treatment plans and follow-ups.
• RTW planning and accommodations of restricted duties with employer and Site Safety.
• Coordinate with occupational health nurses and rehab specialists to implement tailored care plans.
• Maintain compliant documentation for workers’ compensation and OSHA requirements.
