Job summary

MEM Insurance seeks a Nurse Case Manager to guide injured workers through recovery within the workers' compensation system. You will coordinate treatment plans, monitor progress, and advocate for optimal, cost-effective care while promoting safe return-to-work outcomes.

The role is on-site in a regional setting with collaboration among workers, providers, employers, and claims professionals to ensure timely, quality care.

Qualifications

• Active RN designation required.
• 3+ years of clinical nursing in Medical/Surgical settings.
• 5+ years of insurance or workers' compensation case management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage medical treatment plans for injured workers throughout the life of the claim.
• Serve as liaison among workers, providers, employers, therapists, and claims professionals to ensure effective communication and care coordination.
• Assess medical information and treatment progress to support recovery and safe return-to-work outcomes.
• Develop individualized case management strategies to promote quality care and positive rehabilitation outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case records in company systems.
