The candidate will lead APQP-driven tooling programs, manage technical documentation, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Understand injection molding for thermoplastics.
• Team environment with cross-functional coordination.
• Experience with Mold Flow, mold design, and DFM.
• Experience with CAD/CAM like Creo/SolidWorks.
• Experience reading 2D prints with GD&T.
• Customer focus, strategic thinking, results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Obtain information from manufacturing, quality, engineering to propose to the customer.
• Perform cost estimating during development using APQP.
• Place new tooling & fixtures through APQP; manage design and tooling.
• Update routings, BOMs, and change documents.
• Provide proposals for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Interact with manufacturing to establish standard processes.
• Establish quality plans (FMEA, Control Plans, PPAPs) and lead with QA.
• Travel to customer/vendor locations.
