Job summary

Dayton Superior is seeking a Mold Technician to manage mold changes, machine startup and setup, and process troubleshooting on injection molding equipment. The role ensures optimum cycle times and part quality while maintaining tooling and safety standards.

The candidate will train operators, document processes, and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an on-site position with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in a related area of responsibility.
• Technical certification or associate degree may be required in some areas.
• Experience with injection molding processes and equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up molding machine parameters to produce quality parts for production.
• Troubleshoots and performs process changes on injection molding machines and robots.
• Ensures machines run efficiently and parts meet quality standards.
• Maintains molds and related tooling; replaces common wear parts as needed.
• Trains operators and documents optimum processes; participates in root cause analysis.
