Job summary

White Cap in Utah is seeking a Mold Technician who will oversee mold changes, machine startup and setup, shutdowns, and ongoing process troubleshooting to keep production running smoothly.

You will set up molding parameters, troubleshoot issues, program robots for mold changes, train operators, perform basic maintenance, and participate in root-cause investigations while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in molding/production or related area.
• Technical certification or associate degree may be required.
• Experience with root cause analysis and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Set up molding machine parameters to produce quality parts.
• Troubleshoot and perform process changes on the injection molding machine; run mold changes quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure machines run efficiently and parts meet quality standards.
• Set up of auxiliary and secondary equipment as required; train operators.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and replace mold components.
• Support root cause problem solving across production while upholding safety and quality standards.
