Job summary

Insight Enterprises in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Solution Principal Sr to lead solution design across cloud, data center, storage, and resiliency. You will partner with sales to scope opportunities, engage clients in workshops, and translate requirements into scalable solutions aligned to Insight capabilities.

The role requires 8+ years in infrastructure architecture or consulting, strong pre-sales experience, and exceptional client-facing communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure architecture, consulting, or solution design.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or data center, storage, virtualization, or disaster recovery.
• Experience supporting pre-sales engagements and working with sales teams.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business solutions.
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in services/consulting and large enterprise opportunities.
• Collaborative across sales, delivery, and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical solution design across infrastructure domains including cloud, data center, storage, and resiliency.
• Partner with sales teams to scope, qualify, and advance opportunities through the pre-sales lifecycle.
• Engage directly with clients to understand business and technical requirements through workshops, discovery, and solution discussions.
• Translate client needs into scalable, deliverable solutions aligned to Insight capabilities.
• Support development of Statements of Work (SOWs), including scope definition and solution validation.
• Ensure alignment between pre-sales solutioning and delivery execution to reduce risk and improve customer outcomes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with architecture, engineering, and delivery teams to drive consistent and high-quality solutions.
• Participate in pipeline management activities and opportunity reviews to support deal progression.
• Contribute to internal process improvements related to solution consistency, pricing alignment, and delivery expectations.
