Job summary

TEK Systems in San Diego, CA is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale infrastructure deployments across commercial, education, and public sector environments. This onsite role requires hands-on management of physical technology deployments and coordination of engineering teams, field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in infrastructure, telecommunications, low‑voltage, or technology deployment environments.
• Experience managing projects through the entire lifecycle, from planning through final handoff.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple infrastructure projects from planning through closeout.
• Lead pre-construction activities including site surveys, scope validation, budgeting, and planning.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, field operations, and subcontractors throughout execution.
• Oversee deployments involving structured cabling, fiber infrastructure, network equipment, wireless infrastructure, CCTV and low-voltage systems.
• Track schedules, budgets, labor forecasts, and project profitability.
• Manage change orders, documentation, and client communications.
• Ensure safety standards and project deliverables are met.
• Conduct progress meetings and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Drive projects through testing, turnover, and closeout.
