Job summary

Wilson Elser, a leading national law firm, seeks a Sr. Infrastructure Operations Engineer to own Azure, SQL Server, VMware, storage, and on-prem to cloud migrations across our Windows-based environment in Phoenix.

You will lead incident response, develop repeatable runbooks, and deliver resilient infrastructure with strong documentation and cross-training.

This role requires 7+ years of hands-on experience, expertise in Azure, Active Directory, PowerShell, and enterprise storage technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience.
• Proven ability to act as final technical escalation point for major incidents.

Responsibilities

• Lead Azure estate administration and workload migrations from on-premises to Azure.
• Own SQL Server platform end-to-end including Always On, backups, and DR runbooks.
• Administer VMware/vCenter across sites and manage DR testing and recovery docs.
• Manage storage arrays (Pure Storage, HPE 3PAR) and Dell hardware lifecycle.
• Provide senior escalation, robust documentation, and cross-training for team resilience.
