Job summary

Wilson Elser is seeking a Sr. Infrastructure Operations Engineer to lead engineering, implementation, and support across Windows, virtualization, storage, SQL Server, and cloud infrastructure in Azure.

You will be the senior escalation point, own the design and recoverability, and provide technical leadership for SQL Server operations while mentoring teammates. Strong collaboration and self-starting project leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Windows Server 2012–2022 and upgrades.
• Strong SQL Server and Always On Availability Groups expertise.
• Hands-on Azure IaaS/PaaS and workload migrations required.

Responsibilities

• Own Azure estate and SQL Server platform end-to-end.
• Manage VMware, storage, and backup/recovery procedures; DR readiness.
• Lead incident escalation, RCA documentation, and cross-training.
