Responsibilities

Infrastructure Solution Design - Lead the design and architecture of infrastructure solutions across compute, storage, network, and virtualization platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business objectives.
Project Delivery - Drive infrastructure initiatives from concept to production, including build, migration, upgrade, and decommission activities; and oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
Operational Excellence - Establish and enforce runbooks, monitoring and alerting standards, capacity planning, and operational readiness criteria while continuously improving incident prevention, detection, and response measures.
Risk - Proactively identifying infrastructure risks such as resiliency gaps, single points of failure, capacity constraints, and security exposures, developing and executing risk mitigation plans, including architectural changes and remediation roadmaps.
Requirements Translation - Translate business requirements into engineering requirements and technical designs, ensuring solutions align with technology strategy, roadmaps, and architectural guardrails and evaluate technology products and services, contribute to selection decisions, and guide implementation and integration to optimize platform capabilities.
Security & Compliance - Ensure infrastructure designs incorporate security-by-design principles, including identity and access controls, encryption, segmentation, patching, vulnerability management, and auditability and support governance activities such as risk assessments, control reviews, technology lifecycle management, and change management.
Automation & Modernization - Drive adoption of automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and repeatable deployment patterns and lead infrastructure modernization initiatives such as data center migration and platform standardization.
Collaboration & Communication - Foster strong partnerships with application teams, technology partners, and stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Leads reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted practices across delivery and automation routines to reduce recurring issues, ensuring changes are validated, traceable and auditable, and aligned to resiliency and security expectations.
