Job summary

JPMorganChase in Plano, TX is seeking a Manager of Infrastructure Engineering to lead highly skilled infrastructure teams within Corporate Sector – Enterprise Technology. You will supervise team members, apply deep technical knowledge, and exercise independent judgment to achieve broad objectives.

The role focuses on governance, risk remediation, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple network and infrastructure domains, ensuring operational stability and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Experience leading infrastructure and/or network governance, risk remediation, or large-scale network programs in a regulated environment.
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure engineering areas such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage, deployment, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments.
• Proficient automation knowledge.
• Working knowledge of enterprise networking concepts to govern standards, patching, capacity planning, change controls, and remediation sequencing.
• Ability to run cross-functional governance with KPIs, delivery reporting, dependency management, and executive communication.
• Experience partnering with risk, compliance, and audit teams, including evidence production and remediation closure.

Responsibilities

• Own the network governance operating model and roadmap with prioritization and stakeholder alignment to reduce risk.
• Establish governance forums and processes with clear decision rights and documentation standards.
• Lead vendor code review and release governance ensuring quality gates before production adoption.
• Drive end-to-end risk remediation across capacity management, TLM, and patching backlogs with traceability.
• Define controls and reporting standards that improve audit readiness with executive-ready metrics.
• Ensure governance improves operational stability without becoming day-to-day operations ownership.
