Job summary

Serco is seeking an Experienced Infrastructure Engineer for a 100% remote role. You will design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure, focusing on automation, reliability, and security. Collaboration with DevOps, security, and development teams is essential to deliver robust platforms.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain DoW Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree, and 4+ years in platform engineering, with strong Azure, scripting, and container orchestration skills

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required.
Ability to obtain DoW Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree at minimum.
4+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, CloudOps, or IaC roles.
Strong experience with Azure.
Proficient in scripting and automation.
Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for deployment and operations.
Monitor performance, availability, and capacity; address issues proactively.
Collaborate with engineers to optimize performance and deployment.
Implement observability with logging, metrics, and tracing.
Ensure security and operational standards across environments.
Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
