Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an Experienced Infrastructure Engineer - (100% Remote) to design, build, and maintain scalable platform infrastructure.

You will work with DevOps, security, and software teams to ensure robust, secure systems and automate processes. The role emphasizes IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation), CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes, with security compliance and observability at the forefront.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required.
Ability to obtain DoW Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum 4 years of platform engineering, DevOps, CloudOps, or IaC roles.
Strong experience with Azure.
Proficiency in scripting and automation.
Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

Design scalable, reliable, and secure platform infrastructure.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for deployment and operations.
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity, addressing issues proactively.
Collaborate with software engineers to optimize performance and deployment.
Implement observability including logging, metrics, and tracing.
Ensure security and operational standards across environments.
Drive automation of manual processes to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
