Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer for a 100% remote role in the United States. The ideal candidate will integrate security throughout the SDLC, manage secure CI/CD pipelines, and automate cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Qualifications include U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in DevOps/security/cloud, and experience with Azure, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins,

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in DevOps, Security Engineering, Software Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
• Proficiency with Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions.
• Containerization/orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills.
• Travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security tools and practices into development and deployment workflows (SAST, DAST, container scanning).
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure secure software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities and respond to incidents.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing systems.
• Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices.
