Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and optimize enterprise infrastructure platforms. You will collect and analyze network traffic from multiple observation points, delivering insights to security, operations, and performance teams.

You will lead automation, monitoring, and capacity planning efforts, while driving standards, governance, and cross-functional collaboration across a large enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS/Engineering/IS or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware
• 8+ years in network observability, packet broker engineering, network visibility, monitoring, or related discipline (preferred)
• Experience with large-scale packet broker and network visibility environments
• Experience with Gigamon, Arista DANZ Monitoring Fabric or comparable technologies

Responsibilities

• Design, build, manage, and implement enterprise infrastructure platforms and systems
• Collect network traffic from physical and virtual observation points and deliver to internal users
• Develop automation, monitoring, and optimization techniques for high availability and performance
• Manage large infrastructure projects aligned with strategy and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to integrate new technologies
• Continuously improve infrastructure standards and processes
• Troubleshoot complex issues affecting performance and reliability
• Ensure compliance with technology strategies, standards, and governance
• Review infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures
• Provide technical guidance and training to infrastructure teams and professionals
• Support business and technical strategic objectives
