Job summary

Synergis is seeking a network/infrastructure professional to support design, monitoring, and automation of enterprise networks. You will aid in deploying tools for observability, monitoring, and reporting across LAN/WAN environments.

Responsibilities include scripting, automation, and collaborating with internal teams and vendors to deliver reliable, secure infrastructure solutions; on-call rotation may apply, with emphasis on compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure management, monitoring, or observability tools.
• Familiar with network management protocols: SNMP, TL1, NETCONF.
• System administration on Linux/UNIX/Windows Server.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and integration concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, administration, integration, automation, and consulting for infrastructure management and monitoring platforms.
• Support tools for real-time monitoring, configuration management, scheduling, and automation.
• Collaborate with engineering to gather requirements and implement network management solutions.
• Develop and maintain scripts, workflows, and automations to improve efficiency.
• Respond to operational problems, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve recurring issues.
• Create technical documentation for supported platforms and processes.
• Support cybersecurity and compliance requirements, including SOX and NERC CIP where applicable.
• Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call as needed.
• Engage users and stakeholders to provide practical consulting for infrastructure needs.
