Job summary

AF Group in Los Angeles is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer II to manage secure, high-availability computing platforms, servers and networks. You will install, maintain and upgrade the operating environment to ensure reliability and performance.

You will monitor systems, respond to incidents, participate in on-call rotations, plan for growth, implement middleware and multi-cloud enhancements, and ensure security, backups, disaster recovery and proper documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field required.
Continuous learning and professional development are encouraged.
Experience in IT environments with multi-site, multi-platform support is favored.

Responsibilities

Act as technical lead for installation, maintenance and testing of server systems and middleware.
Mentor operations staff and coordinate with vendors on licenses and contracts.
Plan for replacement of obsolete resources and deploy security patches.
Monitor performance, respond to incidents, and support on-call rotations.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure.
Collaborate with development teams for production readiness and disaster recovery planning.
